UN Issuing Chewing Gum to Fight Famine

The almighty United Nations through the World Food Program has stepped up the fight against famine.

After a joint meeting held on Friday, the two bodies agreed on issuance of chewing gums to hunger stricken areas.

The gums will be rich in sugars and is meant to keep individuals alive least they die in their sleep.

In a memo released to media houses, they mentioned chewing gums are cheaper than real food or mineral supplements thus they can serve a larger number of people.

Their target is to have fed every hungry mouth with at least a packet of gums by end of the year.

This method was also adopted as it was fool-proof and no corrupt leader will think of looting chewing gums.

Governments around the world welcomed this move wholeheartedly saying it has been a long way coming while others called it an insult.
